I want to be able to pump water from my water carrier on the ground up to my sink/kettle etc on my trailer tent kitchen -- Ive seen submersible pumps etc etc - but I dont really know what I need -- cheep and cheerful of course !!! battery or mains operated I guess as Ive got hook up and generally dont go where there isnt leccy -- any advice welcome --- thankyou.

wongers is right if youwant the easyist and cheapest way, just by a cheap shower pump kit and take the head off flee bay have 100's

We use a 12v submirsible pump and shower to do this. I really think there is a market for a manufactured kit with a tap - like the caravan systems but without individuals having to buy all the bits and build it (Kampa are you reading this

)

The thing to bear in mind is the opening on your water container, we had to switch our old aquaroll for a newer one as the submirsible pump was too big to go through the narrow opening. We use an aquaroll so that I don't have to lift a water container.

Talked to the Whale people at the last CCC national feast of Lanterns meeting. Asked all the design boys and girls who are doing leisure products for their course at university. If we keep on at them perhaps someone will come up with an affordable system.

And yes use the 12v / battery eBay shower system cheapest way to go. But shower head tooo big to fill kettle Also agree watch out for your water carrier opening most to small to take the pump.
