yep i reserved one too but............. bq phone yesterday to say they had none at all in stock even though website showing stock but went to b and m today and they have one nearly the same for 9.99 so got one from there
im pretty sure home bargains had one in for about £6 or £7 ??? I have reserved the b and q one but if for whatever reason I cant get it im going to home bargains
Hi there, I got a call this morning saying no stock left too, however after a bit of complaining about their reserve and collect service, i managed to get one reserved at another local store.
Picked it up earlier and am very impressed with the product now i finally have it!

I picked up mine from B&Q yesterday, but it was not an easy process.
They apparently had 11 in stock but none on the shelf and it took them about 30 mins to find them! This was apparently my fault because I was not supposed to collect it until today (this bit hidden in the small print of the reserve/collect receipt)!
I then left B&Q to collect something from Aldi (next door) and found that they had a big pile of reduced fan heaters at £7ish.
Hey ho!
Now, I couldn't find them on the Aldi website so it may only be in my local store but it may be worth a check for those let down by B&Q.

I got mine yesterday evening after reserving it online at 4pm. I rang the store to ask if i could fetch it yesterday as i was working today. A very helpful lady called Dorcas answered my call and went to the shelf and got it herself and we queued up and collected it in 2 minutes at 7pm. Sounds like 'MrDasherD' used the same store at Alphington in Exeter, as Aldi is opposite!!
Sorry to those who had bad experiences....maybe i was just lucky. Just to rub it in, it's a lovely little heater!! Thanks for the original tip. Keep them coming.

Yes it was the Alphington store. Funnily I had a call about an hour after I left the store - guy said 'Just received your reserve/collect order and although it says here that we have 11, I can't find any!'. Naturally I thanked him for the call and told him I had mine and where to find them for the next customer!!
Read the OP yesterday, jumped in the car and sped to local B&Q. Found correct bay and there was only one left. The box was crumpled and had obviously been opened. I took it to the info desk and asked them to try it out for me (did not want to get it home only to find it was faulty) It worked............and what's more they reduced the price to £5.00. Now that's what I call a real bargain. Thanks for the tip!
