I don't see why they wouldn't work... I'm just trying to remember how the side door opens up (whether it is a zip around one with a side swing or rolls up... I think it is up). Go to the Outwell website, it has the dimensions of the tent on there... you can then see whether (with a coulpe of adjustment) they would hope the door open sufficiently.

I'll look later on if you don't do it before :) Spending £10 is definitely cheaper than £90 on a canopy!
