Never had a problem with cleaning the bottle. When I get home, I just rinse with fresh water first, then a drop of washing up liquid with hot water replace cap shake and then rinse out. I've been using the same orange juice bottle for two years now. ------------- Canvas tent, paraffin light, petrol stove. Heaven
I'd rather be kayaking.
Spent up, not pent up, just had my new tent up.

My daughter has one of these in her lunchbox and we've never had a leak. Holds a pint too.

thanks folks - done some shopping today
got a little Sistema from Wilkinsons for £2.50, only 330ml not 460ml but cheap, useful for the kids and to try
also got Sigg 600ml from Yeomans for £3.95 (another bargain) going to try keeping it really clean and bicarb now and then too
looked at Aladdin Aveo in John Lewis again but they are big, £9 and the lid looked too complicarted to stay leak free

As suggested earlier - just recycle 'pop' bottles. Ribena, Lucozade, Vimto, Spring Water, etc. Then bin them when you've emptied them.------------- The optimist sees the glass as half full. The pessimist sees the glass as half empty. To the engineer the glass is twice as big as it needs to be...
