As Omega99 says the nail type are great but remember to take a proper hammer to knock them in with as a mallet is no good a good claw hammer is needed------------- I might grow old...But!

Best if you take a claw hammer with these as you can then use the claw to extract them afterwards. I think they call them rock pegs.------------- Gray

Lloyd, what on earth did you want 100 pegs for? Do you camp in a marquee?
I've still got my 6" nails that I bought during a camping trip to the South of France many years ago. The site shop sold them as ordinary pegs wouldn't go into the ground 'cos it was so hard. They charged a Franc each - about 20p - & I blew my daily food allowance to get them. Baked beans for tea that night.
I did have a clear out this summer & chucked out the bent & very rusty ones.
------------- Caz
If you can't see the light at the end of the tunnel, just keep going till you go round the bend.
