I have a sunncamp 45ltr 3 way fridge that just stopped working. I tried turning it upside down for 24 hours & still no joy. So today I connected on a gas supply & it works fine on gas. Does anyone know what could have gone wrong with the 240v mains side (red power LED is working). From reading about on the net I see the only thing that might be different is the way it heats up the fluid between gas/electric...someone please help a damsel in distress ;)

I have the opposite problem - works on electric but not on gas so if anyone can help with my problem that would be fantastic

Have just phoned sunnflair repairs department & explained that the mains no longer works, was told to run it off gas! I have now sent them an email telling them that for £175 I expected this fridge to last more than 50 days (which is the total amount of time its been in use over the last 2 years). They seem to think they only guarantee it for 365 days, this is WRONG!!! The sale of goods acts states a reasonable period, in other words if you sepnd £600 on a cooker you expect it to last 5 years, not 1 year! But the same cant be said of a £20 kettle. So to anyone else who has a 3 way fridge thats gone wrong within 5 years, please seek legal advice & lets stop these thieving companies trying to weasel out of thier obligations.

Yes the fridge is level, its sat on my kitchen fllor as I type ;)
