Can anyone reccomend some comfotable, but foldable camping chairs? Ours have seen better days and really do need to changed this year, before we go away!!
I quite like the comfort of the outwell deluxe moon chairs, but think that they're quite bulky when folded (as i'd need 4 of them!) and also, they'd work out quite expensive, buying 4!!
Many thanks in advance x

Went to Norwich camping & leisure few weeks ago, Don't know if you are looking for strong folding camp chairs like we were. they sell the Oztent Kokoda Chairs with super strong solid arms. Easy fold and erect procedure makes this chair very convenient to travel and camp with. A great chair for eating at a table. Comes with a full 5 Year Warranty and is rated to 150kgs.
They also sell the King Kokoda Chair which has a higher back and is a bit heavier, and to tell the truth the std Kokoda chair is more comfortable and at £48.99 is £21.00 cheeper The 150kg rating done it for me being wrong side of 20stone.
thanks guys! Ordered some outwell camper deluxe camping chairs from Gaynor sports. They came today. I got soo excited, but when i unwrapped them, they've sent the wrong ones. When i rang them, they told me they don't have any in stock and wont be getting anymore of the ones i want in!! The ones i've fell in love with are very similar to yours LewLincs3! Very comfy and fold down to a good packing size. Felt very sturdy. Will look into the Royal ones now...thanks for your help :o)

I am also about to buy campingchairs and table. Since the prices in sweden are much higher compared to prices in the UK (including shipping) I will probably by from the UK. What I get a bit p*ssed off at at the camping sites is that almost no site shows the folding size on camping chairs. For a family of 4 with only a care with roofbox that is a pretty important factor when buying a chair.
SO now to my wonderings:
What kind of chair is more comfortable:
The normal folding ones like this:
That becomes pretty flat but seems more stable than these ones:
what type is more stable? What type is less volume when packed? And what type do you prefere?

You're welcome! Be warned though, if you get the same chairs as us, they're big! They take up quite a bit of room even when folded, but our theory is, if we're going to be sat in them for anything up to 2 weeks, they need to be comfy!

Hi! Thanks for all your advice guys :)
In the end we had to send our chairs that we ordered back, as they'd sent the wrong ones :(
Then , we was out one day picking something up from argos, hubby decides to look at the camping stuff in there. We noticed they had some lovely camping chairs, that folded away and had the rigid metal arms that we was looking for! Regatta make and they looked very much like the outwell chairs that we originally ordered!! £25 each, we thought what a bargain! Had to return one for exchange today though, as there was something wrong with one of them. Got there, to find out that they're having a 15% off sale on some camping stuff, so i very cheekily asked if i could return both chairs and they sell me them back for the reduced price....£21.24!!! I'm delited! They're very comfy too!!
Thanks again for your advice :)
