With a tent that size - the biggest you can afford! In fact, that's generally the best plan in any case.
Seriously, don't bother with an Erde 102 or similar. As a minimum, I'd suggest you make sure you get one where your tent will go in sideways, and you can put the pole bag on top of it, if you get me?
5feet by 3.5 feet is a good size. The most important thing is the height,no less than 26 inches. A trailer off this size or bigger will be ample for all your needs. Sounds big but when you gather your gear together it's not that big. Don't get one of them small trailers, no good unless all your taking is a kettle..........
we bought a daxara 198 a year ago. we thought we would have loads of room but now that we've bought a new tent we're now talking about what we need to leave behind. Advice would be buy as big as you can afford and fit onto your drive!
lol have u seen the kampa polzeath when down its huge lol i took an erde 102 the first time we got the tent i only got the poles in and a few other things i want a trailer to house every thing so i can just hook up and go.
I googled your tent and my first thought was 'have you considered a lorry'?. I agree with all other posters about getting the biggest the budget permits. Is your towing weight limit because you have a newer driving licence or a tiny car? Having said that 750kg is a LOT! more than ten times the weight of your tent, so unless you intend taking an aga to cook on, i think you should be fine with the biggest unbraked trailer you can afford.
ETA i just looked at that trailer on ebay, blummin heck, you ARE taking the aga!!
We have a Franc GE 133 with ABS lid and jockey wheel. (Unfirtunately hubby lost the keys so we had to drill the locks off so that will need doing!) We can get a KHYAM RIDGIDOME and all the camping gear in easily and everything can be stored in it. Sadly we need to get rid of it though - I have back problems so now need to camp only with our trailer tent.
get a pod caravan /trailer only 300kg and you can store much in side and then put it in a large tent this is what i use now and i have afew people scratch their heads when they see mine go in side my cabanon lagona!
If money's no object (as if!) you need one of these - Keep an eye on eBay! I got a second hand one for just over £600 and I'm not expecting to need anything bigger!
