Bought 2 Fat Airics July 09 to go camping for one night, but couldnt go camping again till this year, went to Ripon this week for two nights and the mats were a nightmare, flat before I got to sleep properly. Ive had them flat in my dining room since then, filled them with air till firm but hours later, I can squash them between my thumb and finger which cant be right, though how theyre both flat god knows. Has anyone else had a similar experience, Im just wondering how they normally deal with these situations i.e will I have to post the mats back at my own expense etc

Have you tried there website? I'm sure they have a few tips about leaking valves.

ps I also have two leaking fat airics and will be taking my own advice shortly. Hoping it is just the valve as these are so comfortable.

I've always found Alpkit's customer services to be excellent.

We had similar with our fat airics, I rang Alpkit and they sent replacement valves FOC. I was very impressed with their customer service

by the sounds of it, its a fault with the product so they will replace valves im sure

We also have had problems with two of ours. Sent them an email last week but as Dave says they are closed until tomorrow. Fingers crossed we can get it fixed before Friday though as we are going away then - I dont fancy my chances though!

I've just had to get some repair patches from Alpkit and have to say that Izzy was fantastically helpful

. The Dozers we received didn't have any repair kit, though they are supposed to. Despite only getting in touch with them on Tuesday, I got the repair kits this morning and did the repair within minutes.
