We have a kingsize raised Aerobed instead of fitting it facing outwards towards the door we lay it across the room so that it is viewed side on from the front.

I have an Outwell Flocked Excellent which is higher than most beds and larger. I find it very comfortable. You can get doubles and singles.

Have you tried a Vango double height as they're slightly narrower
edit, sorry but it looks as if they're wider than 122cm

The older type red and blue box sided ones (used to get at Argos, but got my last one from eBay) are 120cm. I also have an Intex raised bed which is 100cm.------------- Ronni

Is it for 2 people? I think the Coleman one you describe was designed as a "large single" rather than a "small double" if that makes sense? Would sleeping mats be suitable, they tend to be narrower.

I would say get two self inflating mats instead, they'll be warmer anyway. I have a 10 cm SI mat and it's as comfortable as my bed at home.
