It's probebly more hastle than it's worth but I can sand blast and powder paint it if you need it

i did my 80cm dish with car type paint and taking a reading before and after saw no difference in signal quality or strenght.
the trick is to get a thin but sufficient layer on ,4 coats of distemper would probably not be wise

When I worked at Sky we used to get dish's painted via an independent instaler who also owned a car body shop.

Mostly for fussy customers, and for sensative installs etc. and we only had brand new dish''s painted, it was not a retro option.

If your dish is showning signs of rust, I would bin it, and get an aluminium dish, or maybe even a fibreglass dish.

i painted mine with some outdoor garden spray paint looks better and no los sin signal.
