Just wondering how much you could fit into a roof box? I know it depends on the size of the box but when i look and it says it holds so many litres I'm left none the wiser.
Yes I know I must sound a bit thick but just wondered if anyone could help with any examples of what theirs holds.

Everything has been said before, but since nobody ever listens we have to keep going back and saying it all over again and again and again
We have a thule pacific (eek - cant remember what the exact capacity is but it fits on the VW passat). We tend to get 4 x sleeping bags, 4 airbeds, pillows, the clothes bag, the gas stove, roll up table and chairs in there at least. I may be wrong, but I am sure Halfords have their roof boxes on display. May be worth popping in to have a look to give you an idea of size.
As I have kept adding to the camping kit we found we were still pushed for space so have invested in a trailer this year. I now wish we had just opted for a trailer from the beginning, but I honestly thought "I will never have that much stuff and will never need one" - WRONG lol!!The roof box will still come in handy though as I am sure we may use both as the boys get bigger.
