Am I right to assume that the waste washing water goes out from the 'van in the normal way, thru' a pipe and into a drain? We don't have a waste master, just a small waste water holder (square). Is this by-passed when using these pitches? We are new to this type of pitch. I only booked it as it had more room than the others!!
We are going to Ulwell Cottage, so if anyone has used their system, I'd be grateful for any advice.
yes only used one once and the pipe was directed into a hole in the ground behind the van. some have tv and sky points free. obviously toilet empty is as normal.

I agree to all the other answers but you must be sure that your waste pipe is long enough to reach from your caravan outlet to the grid. I carry two
6 metre lengths and a straight connector, that takes care of any site that we have been on. I also carry 2 x 7.5 metre fresh water pipes for the same reason. Whale flat extension pipe (for fresh water) is excellent and saves loads of space and weight. Fully serviced pitches are excellent and save pulling your fresh and waste water containers around.

I bought one of these from fleabay and it works a treat, better price and 10m length. Some folk make their own own (bits are easily available), but by the time you've faffed around, this kit is comparitive.

It's not that common - I've only seen it once, but some sites do have full service pitches which have their own chemical toilet disposal on the pitch too!
It would be worth checking that it has water drainaway. If it is advertised as 'fully serviced' then it would usually have waste drainaway too. However, there are sites with water hookup that do not have waste drainaway on the pitch. e.g. Roseberry Touring Park, just outside Cambridge - good site, but no drainaway from individual pitches because of the gradient and other technical reasons.
