just bought this trailer and it came with loading bars and im sure ive read somewhere that the trailer sides have to be reinforced before attaching, is this true or am i just imagining ive read this somewhere, if it is right how do i do this. any ideas please?
Hi, yes you do need to as I did when I bought mine. Unfortunately thats as helpful as I can be at the moment as I cant remember exactly what it is I had to do. I'm sure someone else on the forum will know though. I believe it was something quite simple and straightforward.

I have just fitted these bars to me Erde 102. (same bars). They came with 2 reinforcing brackets that fit between the front panel and the 2 side panels. They look like a square U channel that chamfer down. Hope this helps.

Yes they fit widest part at the top, thinnest at the bottom. I believe it is to stop the front from spreading out. At the rear the tailgate catches do this.
