Hello

We have just bought our first caravan and hoping to take it out next week for a trial run.  Just wondering if any of you experienced caravaners could give me any tips on what not too forget?  We have the package we bought containing water hog, waste disposal, mains leads etc., its the extras to make it an enjoyable experience, so my husband will want to go again! We have a 9 year old too.

When i had a caravan i used to take my slow cooker & George forman grill.

Also quilts, pillows, TV,Microwave, was like home from home in the end.

Its great too as you can just put all your clothes etc ready in the cupboards or at least hang things up so less bags to pack.

Its simple,just think of all the things you have in your house for comfort etc..not forgeting a small tool box for repairs..just think of it as a second home.

Folding crates are very useful. Compedium of games and pack of cards are kept in van for kids. 'S' hooks are hung in our shower area for coats, etc.
