Please can anyone recommend a water carrier that doesnt make the water smell and taste like plastic.. We have had two in the past and both were useless, its getting to be a bit of a pain trudging back and forth to the tap when we are quite far from it

One of these 5 litre bottles of water from your local supermarket, it will cost you about a pound.

We used to use the 3 litres bottles form Robinsons juice - but they are hard to come by now as juice is all diltuted even more now. I bought a flat packed water carrier last week from asda - used it over the weekend - it was vile! The water tasted plastic, I washed it out several times - still no good. Ended up using it for the kids to shower with! Used 2litre lemonade bottle instead. In future we will pick a a huge water bottle like Bernie 47 - and re-fill it!

Use a large water carrier for cooking & tea making & keep a couple of mineral water bottles filled up for drinking.

I saw this on an advert on here. I thought it would be useful as we use a bucket for washing up, & this could be transported inside.  It was excellent and no horrible taste, very reasonable price as well.

same thing ruins your beer when they put it in a plastic " glass " or jug , i will only have a jug of beer if its a glass jug ,,

i always buy the cheapest 2 litre bottles of supermarket water , about 22p a time for drinking and tea/coffee making , 6 to 8 of them , then swill them out and refill at tap , the 5 litre ones i find too big and cumbersome when filling the kettle ,,

Considering one as much easier to use. Are you satisfied with it and how quickly was it delivered?

We use empty squash bottles too.Much easier than the useless collapsible thing we bought first! It kept falling over when it was full!
