Just wondered what everyone thinks is the best...table and benches or the folding style ones...they look a bit flimsy but i have 2 kids under 6 so would it be suitable ??
The one with plastic seats and table from any camping shop is fine. Hubby and I used one for a couple of years when we had a small campervan and it stood up the weight of four adults on some occassions.
we bought the grey one from GoOutdoors, on offer for £17, expected to use it for 1 season to see if it would be suitable for my 3 little ones but....... 3 seasons later it's still going...... i wouldn't say going strong, but going! and we have used it for 4 adults!
I am always on the lookout for the next one, but for that price i may just end up replacing it! my sister bought one which was wooden topped, but they used to stress and have to pack it into the tent each night, we just leave ours outside with now worries if it rains.
i have seen a Quest one when i was in Jacksons of old Arley the other day and i was suprised how stable it was, it was around £60ish.

We like the roll top type table - a good size and sturdy enough if you don't sit on it. Ours is like this one, except ours was a Wynnster (I think they are not doing them now). The Kampa one looks exactly the same. We always use a table cloth with ours - see gallery picture 3.
We have one of these http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/redirect.asp?redir=http://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/elite-picnic-table-set-p152330 and it's fab, folds down into itself, easy to assemble and keep clean, the benches take the weight of a slightly larger adult and it's being used in the garden at the mo for the monsters to paint on!
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
