Just wondering when buying new gas can you swap a campingaz one for a calor gas or does it have to be like for like ? We're off on our first family camping trip soon and m dad has given us his old campingaz cylinder but i really wanted to use calor.
No you can't, as they're different companies. If you want to change to calor, your best bet is to sell your old empty campingaz cylinder on ebay & buy a empty calor bottle of ebay. You'll most likely make a profit as the campingaz ones usually sell for more.

I was gonna say the same as my OH works for a recycling company and you will be surprised how many people go in ask him, They may even swap it for you if you ask them nicely. As I know my OH would.
