I got the Hi Gear Elite double table for £25.  Not seen it for less than £39.99 before, but someone on here may be able to tell me different.

At £25 I think it was a decent price, although I did have to take the first one back as it was faulty, so I suppose that's another fiver I've spent on diesel going back again.

I did notice a huge pile of Hi-Gear returns behind the tills with A4 sheets attached saying what was wrong with them.  They must have a lot of faulty Hi-Gear stuff taken back!!   But they exchanged it without even seeing the fault, so I can't knock their customer service.

I think the most important thing about Go Outdoors is to know what you are buying before you go and avoid browsing, or making any impulse purchases.  IMO these often end up not being the bargain you think they are when you get home and research online.

To Chelltiger, If the porch doesnt fit right and you look like being stuck with it, give me a shout. If Ive got the money Ile consider taking it off your hands for my kalahari 10. I dont mind a run down the M6 to pick it up. I couldnt find 1 in wigan yesterday so I thought about waiting till the end of the year and see if I can get 1 then at a good price.

Sorry Martin the porch fits nicely. In fact it's a tiny little better than the one we saw attawched to the Kalahari as the gap wasn't quite so long. It matches in colour more or less too which surprised me.

well i thought it was part of been here to help others when bargains are available and there could be others who wouldnt be able to get there when offers are on like us so if they go tommorow they should still get the discount price as far as go outdoors is concerned i dont have a problem with them but nor do i with any other camping/caravan accessories stores if i find good service from any i will pass it on just the same

Sorry Martin the porch fits nicely. In fact it's a tiny little better than the one we saw attawched to the Kalahari as the gap wasn't quite so long. It matches in colour more or less too which surprised me.

Hi All. This is my first on ukcampsite.

Spent a week brousing tent reviews on here prior to buying a Hi Gear Mojave 5 for my daughter and family on ebay. It was listed as 'used' by an outfit called 'clearancecamping' but when it came to paying the name GO Outdoors came up.

The tent arrived promptly but appears to be brand new. It comes with a 28 day return policy but not the 12 months guarantee you would expect with a 'new' item.

The tent cost £102 delivered which seems reasonable but are GO Outdoors pulling a flanker with this method of selling?
