Please please is there anyone out there that can help me with some info on the best way to use a Vision 430 antenna. We go away in 10 days and it will be the first time weve taken the antenna with us. Weve tried setting up at home (to make sure its ok with our TV etc) but we just cannot pick up any sort of reception. Do we need a signal booster or something similar? Dont want to lug down a tv and aerial if we cant use it :(
Any help comments and advice much appreciated x

I use a normal Outdoor TV Aerial on a mast, works a treat, had loads of issues with so called "HIGH GAIN" mini areials, got fed up with buying boosters etc and just got a normal TV aerial.

Some areas are absoluty rubbish for reception, I live in London and I cant even get a good tv signal on a proper aerial let alone digital tv reception.

Hi. We have one of those and find it excellent. Make sure you've got it in the right orientation for the signal, either vertical or horizontal. The rods on the side are for VHF reception, but they do seem to help if you extend them. Have you checked the connections inside, as it has been known for the wires to come loose at either the aerial or the plug.
