Had similar, Father has one instead of a BBQ in back garden. Ok for campsite electrics, if you are on EHU anyway then why use gas? easy to clean, reasonable price, have fat drain gulley and collection tray, We have used for toast (just add a little butter each side - yum), eggs, sausage, bacon, put beans, mushrooms and onions in foil and cooked those also, place a piece of foil on it (to prevent scratching)and stand a pan / kettle on the top, - decent bit of kit. They have aplug in thermostat / electric connector so plate easy to wash.
YES!!!
