Hi all

last night ordered some camping bits for reserve & collect, windbreak2 /head lights2/

bed rolls 2/ and some cord, ended up ordering from Thurrock which is 30 mile round trip for me, as more local stores were out of stock.

I received my email confirmation and a text message confirming goods would be ready after 10am today, I got to the store at 1.30pm and guess what, nothing I ordered was in stock, the lady at the check out sais I am sorry sir and shrugged her shoulders. I was about to leave and count my losses but suddenly thought, no they should compensate me for my time, and the expense of a 30 mile round trip, as they had plenty of time to contact me.

Anyway after speaking to a superviser they actually gave me £10 as compensation

not ideal, but at least it was a gesture, they also said that all the good offers of camping equipment are out of stock regardless of what the web site says, so save yourself a trip.
