I've just picked up my new caravan and have noticed on other caravans there is a bin attached to the door. looking at my door I have a bar across the lower half which looks as if it could be an attachment point does anyone have any idea if these bins are specific to the caravan I've seen them on or can you get a generic one to fit all vans My caravan is a 2004 sterling moonstone

If your "bar " looks like the one in this link , then its a Garbina...
They are a popular retro fit for vans.

Robdawn,
Until recently we also owned a 2004 Moonstone but we did not have a bin in the door.
If you mean the plastic bar that`s the same colour as the door then its a magazine holder.
Pete.

HI Pete
yes I do mean that bar, just wondered if it was capable of taking a bin? we have seen lots of caravans with bins there and wondered if this was suitable for attachment

I think you would be better with just a small plastic bin and keep it in the vanity room if youve got one.Opening the door with a bin attached i think looks terrible especially if its full and needing empted.------------- Animals have feelings..
