Does anyone have any suggestions for the best aerial for a portable freeview dvdplayer/tv. We have one which got us threw the w/e but we were only able to receive a few tv channels. Ideally we would prefer a small one.

This is a copy of a reply by Martin Pickering of "Satcure" to an earlier but similar request and I can assure you that he knows his stuff!

I defy anyone to find a better aerial than the one reviewed here :
http://leisure.prior...tv-aerial.shtml It may not have a pretty plastic housing but it works well and doesn't need an amplifier unless you are feeding more than one TV. Unquote:
digital tv is far more line of sight than analogue some people may never get a full service whatever aerial they use ,we get nothing here on a big aerial but where we camp usually we get a full lineup on a 1 foot long aerial with bent bits right left and centre
I have one of these similar to what FB above describes. It didn't come with a mast like this one - I just chuck it on the roof and it stays put! LOL... tried lots of different ones, but went back to this. on the pics in my gallery.
