Hi Does anyone have any suggestions for a comfy chair. We use the standard fold up and put in bag type but at the end of each trip my thighs have bruises on. Any suggestions please

Just my own personal feelings, but I like the sort that OliverDay mentions above, or anthing similar. We have Quest Sandringham chairs and we have been pleased with them. Like the Kampa ones, they recline.
Not so keen on the recliners where the bottom section comes up when it reclines. When in ordinary 'sitting position' I have found them awkward to use sitting at a table to eat, when I like to put my feet slightly underneath the chair. You can't do this with the 'full recliners'. It's just what I am comfortable with - everyone is slightly different.
This is my chair. When I bought them they were £20 each on ebay but I haven't seen them at that price since. They do recline and then I feel obliged to put my feet up on the table
They are quite a heavy chair though. Some of similar design are much lighter so it pays to shop around.
I bought a couple of the Coleman Sling Chairs a while back. Really comfy and don't dig in the back of your thighs. Fold up relatively small into a bag, not too heavy either. I suppose it depends on how much you want to spend and if you have the room for something bigger. These cost me £30 each.
very comfy and light to transport and you can also get matching foot rest. We looked at the 'better' branded ones however the weight seemed to be so much more.
\if carry space is also an issue what about this style
We've had a variety of chairs over the years and have finally settled on the hi-gear hawaii reclining chair. I would say that chairs are a personal choice - the brother in law has 2 lafuma rsx recliners which aren't as firm as the hi-gear hawaii but are lighter. Both fold fairly flat but I would say try them in the shop - look at the material - the batyline ones let the breeze in - keep trying them as often as you can as you'll be sat in them a while!
Lafuma's seem to hold a good second hand value on ebay too but they weren't firm enough for us. I would say that the recliners can be awkward around the dinner table for some folk but I've never had a problem personally.
