HI

went camping this weekend with the superb late summer weather!

Anyway our light that we have in the tent did not really last as long as we had hoped , it lasted 2 nights but the second night we could tell it was losing its charge as we had to end our card game short!!!

So can anyone recommend a good tent lamp/light that will last a good 2-3 nights on one charge?

also while on the subject im also after a torch for the dark nights trying to find your way around a campsite not sure whats good as i can only think of maglite torches but is there anything else ?

thanks

Terence

*just found a LED 7438 Lenser Police Tech Focus Torch that look the business , proberly a bit overkill but i like this , anyone got one?

This is what I use... great light output and battery life.
There is also a 400LX should you want even more light.

With regards to torches, I use a Gelert headtorch with 1 decent LED. Very bright and superior to most torches I see others using.

Not really up to speed on tent lighting but I am a huge fan of the lenser torches. They are super powerful and I have both a twist head L7 and a slide head (not sure of the model). They are superb engineering and very robust and they have great battery life. Wont go far wrong with a Lenser.

I have an LED Lenser P7

It is the one that slides rather than twists to alter the pattern of light.

It is brilliant!

We have the coleman classic rechargeable LED lantern. It`s quite bright and last the best part of a week on one charge.

Camperlands in Manchester had them down to £18.99, (rrp £29.99), the other week, but don`t know if they are still that price.

I also got the T7 torch instead of the P7 because you can adjust the beam with a one handed operation.

Also got two H7 head torches for me and the wife with Cree LED chip. Dimmer facility and spot to flood make it versatile and would say that Lenser are very good quality.

Their "key finder" little torch is very good too
