I bought a Sunncamp Grange 6 berth tent brand new a few years ago and has only been used a handful of times. On the last occasion a few months ago I encountered an awful flaw in the bedrooms pods and skirt where basically the groundsheet in the bedroom pods is discintergrating and basically covers you from head to toe in blue specks.
This means we have a redundant tent as my little man suffers from excema and brought his skin up really bad.
I am in liasion with Sunnflair who make this tent but they are dragging their heels saying they are waiting to hear from their manufacturer in China. Nearly a month has passed with lots of heated phone calls and still no resolution.
Has anyone else has problems with this happening at all, as they are saying this has never happened before? Well they would say that wouldn't they!!!!
I've got the same problem with the draft excluder, on the bottom of the mud walls on my Sunncamp Trailer Tent, which it itself isn't a massive problem, apart from the fact that when you fold/unfold it the specks are evident on the tent inners.
I will probably end up replacing it in due course, when I've coerced somebody into doing me a favour.
Either that, or I will cut it off altogether, for what good its doing. Mines a 2005/2006 model that's been used 6 or 7 times in total, so its a bit disapointing to say the least.
I'd be interested to hear what Sunncamp have to say either way.
