Hi, I want to buy a head torch, but there seems to be loads to choose from. I want something that shines brightly and is simple and easy to use (not too many function choices) as it's for my special needs daughter. Any suggestions very welcome. Thank you.

I've got one of these and it's perfect. It can be set at various angles and has a low/high/red settings that are just cycled on the button.

I've just bought one of these for my son: Silva Siju LED headtorch. With Millets 40% off at the moment it is an excellent purchase for a very lightweight torch with very good reviews. With the sale Millets is one of the cheapest sources. Much lighter in weight than most other headtorches, easy to use and a good light. Also comes in various colour options so excellent for children. I've given up with cheaper branded head torches - as quality is very variable. At £8.99 in the sale this is very competitive for a quality head torch.

Basic, but still effective, ones are available in Poundland I use them for sea fishing and, at £1, don't care if I wreck it

I bought 1 from home bargins for 1.99gbp and I think its brilliant but have nothing to compare it to lol. Its 12LED with 1 button operation. They were out of stock for a while but just picked up 4 more as the kids kept pinching mine lol. Now we have 1 each and a spare :)

These are the best! Lightweight and brilliant ... have them for kids Duke of Ed and I use them for setting up at night ... so much better than all those head straps!
