Which is the best product to waterproof our Apache Monaco porch awning? At the moment it leaks like a sieve and is unusable in wet weather when it is needed,
Not sure what fabric your awning is made from..but I just treated our old, lightweight porch(an Outdoor revolution EasiPrch) with Fabsil and it's been fine since...
I just applied it with a small, cheapie garden handsprayer..
To be extra sure, you may want to use some seam sealer on any suspect stitching ...
Do as Pepe63 says but when spraying make sure you "wet" the material.BTW its not really the weather to waterproof an awning as you need heat to make sure there is no damp on it also for the waterproofer like fabsil to evaporate.
We used Thomsons Waterseal on our old awning that leaked (old formula for canvas also, many places still have it). A fraction of the price of Fabsil, brush it on leave it a couple of hours. Nothing got through after that
