If its a porch awning your talking about ive never heard of one but, most awnings these days you can take off the sides and front and be left with just the roof standing..------------- Animals have feelings..

Bradcot make the Portico XL the front and side can be removed like a full awning. Ive tried to put a link in but it doesn't want to work.

Most porch awnings you can either take the sides and front off or roll them up/down/sideways in hot weather.
Well, you could on the 3 different ones I've had, anyway.------------- Caz

As has already been said,a good many(but by no means all)of the lightweight porch awnings will probably have the option of rolling up the front and maybe even the sides..
This type of thing for example..

Oops!..having re-read the OP,I'm now unsure if we're talking about a 'van or a tent porch?

I think that most awning makers have a combi type porch awing which have the sides and front zip out.

Thanks all, I'd forgot what a helpful forum this was. However, I missed off an essential piece if info..........its for a tent!
Oh well!...at least now,if you're ever in need of a caravan or Mh awing, you'll know what to get!....
Posting in the "..Under Canvas" section and including your tent model, will probably be more fruitfull...
(..I just had a quick look on ebay, under "tunnel tent canopies" and that brought up quite a few ideas.. )
http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_nkw=tunnel+tent+canopy
Having said that, some cost twice what we had ever paid for a tent...
