We have an Outdoor Revolution Compactalite awning, for the summer hols we will probally need an inndr tent for it, however just wondering if anyone uses a popup tent for the awning rather than an inner tent or is this just a daft idea?
Popup tents are sometimes used as an extra berth in a tent as they can be collapsed/ dumped elsewhere during the day for more room. I can't see why you couldn't do the same in an awning.

TEFKAS - mine were a fiver tested it in the living room had great fun packing it away.
romany girl - no need for double skin if being used in the awning.
You be careful taking those things out of their bags in the living room (or anywhere else for that matter).
I've heard the stories of over zealous campers, who just can't wait to see what their new tent looks like; They just open the zip, to take a quick peak inside, then..... BLAM!!
They've taken out `half the ornaments on the mantle piece!
