We've decided to upgrade and ditch the airbeds this year and get SIMs. After reading the advice on here I think I've decided on:

For the adults - Vango Adventure 7.5cm as my other half won't settle for anything thinner! Would it be better to get two singles or one double?

For the kids (aged 8 and 5) - Hi Gear 2.5cm from Go Outdoors (I have £40 vouchers left over from Christmas). Would these be thick and warm enough?

Would really appreciate your views, suggestions and recommendations.

Wow! That is a bargain! Sadly they don't have any stores near Norfolk and don't seem to be able to order them online. Thanks though!

Do you know what brand they are? may be able to get them on ebay for a bit more and worth it when there isn't a costco in our area.

We changed our double for two singles . Just seems easier and if the worst happens and one leaks ( which I've never had a SIM do) you only have one persons sleeping arrangments to worry about . It may help with packing to if space is limited

Back in 2008 we got two "ThermaRest DreamTime XL's" they have embedded fastenting straps, so that two can be connected together to make a seemless double bed.

The cost may seem high, but the DreamTime is more of a sleep system, than just a SIM.

Although at the time an indulgence at £119 each, they are definatley worth the money imho.
