We can only afford a secondhand, bottom of the range trailer atm (I know that's not great but we don't have masses of kit yet and aren't going too far this year...) - I've seen some with homemade extensions. Are these legal and ok?

Have a look on preloved.com, ive just bought a 5x3 wooden trailer off there for £60 complete with spare wheel and cover. If you find anything that takes your fancy though and its a new advert, I suggest you the £5 to join as a full member, otherwise when the time comes to be able to contact the seller, it will be too late and you will be gutted like I was on 2 occasions. You will understamd what I mean when you look at the site.
