Hi everyone, just booked campsite for easter cant wait! but lucky to get in , booked up already. They can only give us a ehu of 6 amp.

This seems a lot less than usual so can anyone advise what you can actually run altogether on this or point me in direction of  information on this website. Im sure this will have cropped up before but cant find it ! The countdown as begun! Cheers

On 6amp electric you can use equipment up to a total of 1380 watts.

Hope it helps.

Lighting.tv.charger.fridge should all be ok. You only run low on amps when you start heating stuff - water, food, your environment.

Thanks to everyone for the info, thought we would have to survive on just a light bulb all holidays! been camping years now and still never sure what can stay on and what goes off  without trpiping the lot.  seen lots of tents with what look like 32in flat screen tvs and full size radiators, microwaves etc. I normally switch everthing off while i boil a travel kettle! Thanks again for help cheers!

I take a copy of this:

Amps x Volts = Watts
or
Amps = Watts/Volts
