HI

We have just brought a Carefree Portabello Awning in the sale but now notice height is 230-245cm.

Just checked the web and our 2005 Ace Jubliee Equerry states height including aerial 2.7m !!

Sounds a stupid question but will we get away with it ?!

The 2.7m will include the height of the aerial above the van, the awning should fit quite well.

For a licence dated 1997 or later you must add together the plated max weight of the caravan and trailer, if the total is 3500 or less you can tow it. You may even tow a caravan with a MAM greater than the cars unladen mass the restriction was removed in 2013

Thx Bill it seemed a big difference 245 - 270 so was getting worried.  Will try it out on our first trip away 16th March.
