My wife and I have just got our first caravan after selling our folding camper, we're like a pair of kids at Xmas !!

One question I need an answer to from you knowledgeable dudes....

From where to where do I measure to determine what size winter cover I would need please ??

To measure your caravan for a caravan cover, measure from the rearmost point of the outer body of the 'van to the point where the sloping front of the caravan meets the A-Frame. Do not include the A-frame in the measurement.

Know what you mean we bought our first caravan at the end of the season and dreamed about using it every night until we went away at the start of the next season.

Enjoy

Many thanks for your prompt replies.

This was the measurement I expected but just wanted to be sure.

Just as an afterthought...

There is a status aerial on the roof. Does this increase the size of cover needed ??

no you need to remove the point and cover the aerial with something like a bucket not forgetting the chimney needs a cover/bucket.

No just unscrew the spike so it dont pierce the cover. We also put sponge protectors on the gutter ends.

We dont cover the aerial itself nor the little chimney had the same cover for 3 winters and it is still in good condition no damage from any protruding bits. We also put winter wheels on. Helps with security as no one can tow it away without wheels!!

Just a cautionary tale for any fellow users of Adria vans and Towsure covers. You may need to go up a size. We did because of the extra height of our 542DT.
