Evening
Im asking for recommendations for sleeping bags. I tend to feel the cold, and want a warm sleeping bag!
Also which is going to be warmer; fleece or woollen blankets?
Many Thanks

How about a Gelert Beyond Sleeping Pod XL? A 3 season bag and loads of room. Not for backpacking though as it's quite bulky!
I like fleece blankets. Plus a thermal clothes layer if it's cold. And a hot water bottle!

Hi, I have one of these and it is lovely and warm, though not the cheapest.....
http://www.caseysoutdoorleisure.co.uk/outwell-lakeview-sleeping-bag-2011-2295-p.asp
It isn't too bulky due to being down and feels amazing against your skin. One thing I will mention, I would avoid mummy style bags as I have had one and they are a nightmare though the night. You just feel like you are fighting it all the time as where ever you move, it wants to follow and twists around with you.
Also have a look at the Outwell Camper Lux - really nice too.

I recently purchased the Everest Down bag from Mountain Life - still discounted to £99 on their site. It's duck down so not suitable if theres a chance it'll get wet, but I'm very happy with it's performance - Used it with a fleece liner and a blanket recently in -11C and slept very comfortably.
Highly recommended for the price.

I paid a tenner for our sleeping bags from Dunelm 6 years ago, they are cotton and still going strong, always snuggly in them.------------- May/June - Spring Valley

We had a camping trip to the Lake District May 2011 and it was so cold I made a spot purchase of 2 Gelert XL Mummy bags. They are really warm and cost about £35 each. Now its all we take camping just a sleeping bad each, it will always be warm enough unless you go camping mid winter. If you are looking for warmth would only buy a mummy shape, they are much warmer and when you roll over you hit not cold spots. We bought extra large as I do like enough room to move around. Much better than packing loads of quilts etc for bedding.
