Well I said I would report again when mine arrived.
It has just come (ordered it online and paid with PayPal on Wednesday night) and I paid £44.98 for it including postage.
Don't be put off by the photo on the Argos/Ebay page because that is NOT the item they are selling. The item is exactly as Brettsy's photo above.
The item came boxed and is all contained within a carry bag. Two of the cooking plates are separately bagged within too. It doesn't look as though it is a customer return or a damaged item, in fact it didn't look as though the box had been opened at all.
Bearing in mind that the cheapest one of these was £69.99 on a popular camping equipment website I think I have got a bargain.
Just received my cadac safari chef too,all present and correct,brand spanking new!!Great price at just under £45.00 and delivered within 2 days!Just got to tell oh now that ive bought something else for camping!!He cant complain though ive just saved him a fortune!!
Mine also came this morning. In a undamaged box, wrapped up. carry bags included and most importanly its new. For £45, its a bargain as i was going to order one for £ 65 including delivery.
I think you will find that the HP version generally sells at around £10/£15 less than the LP version. You are restricted to canisters with the HP version whilst with the LP you can connect it up to your gas bottle.
It was the LP version on the Argos site, so much more of a bargain.
