After much (some) deliberation I've finally ordered myself a decent camp bed - the Nash Indulgence Mark 4 Bed chair - should be delivered tomorrow so I'll get to try it out on my trip this weekend :-)
It's expensive, and a complete luxury, but I figured what the heck, I go camping on average every 6 weeks throughout the year and deserve a little comfort :)
HI CRAYFISH..STEWEY HERE i guess you bought a carp bed i think i know which one you mean..if so looks comfy.. i bought a total fishing gear ..tfg..one for £43.00 and what a difference it makes to an airbed..carp beds and chairs although pricey ( not meaning mine) they are well worth investing in
Carp bed chair is not for me, however, it does look very comfy, good luck with it.

You can't go wrong with one of those. Like the other poster above, I have a cheaper version, and that's fab. Never again will you have to sleep on a sloping bed. Unless you want to that is. The only problem is the bulk.
I should just add, that my wife went to stay at our daughters house for a few days last week. She took her carp bed, and large sleeeping bag with her, because it's more comfortable than the bed she would have had to use.

I'd rather be kayaking.
Spent up, not pent up, just had my new tent up.
My TF Gear comfort zone kingsize takes up to 30stone MikeC58 Its 94cm wide and like the OP I found it comfier than my own bed when I tried it. I wont be camping again tho so im selling it as its only been used for 1 camp so its immacculate.
Cost £149.99 new then nash wideboy barrowlogic bag to protect it was £50, selling for £100.
