I am the proud new owner of a cobb bbq and have a few questions.
I notice some of you say that you use yours at the beach etc - how do you transport it home? how long does it take to cool and what do you do with any beads that are still hot when you are ready to go?
Same I guess applies on site - I would be worried about leaving it out if we have gone inside for the night but would be worried about bringing it in due to carbon monoxide.
Hope I dont sound stupid - just really not sure what we would do iyswim
We have a small baking tray just big enough for the basket to fit in and if we want to cool the unfinished beads down we fill it with water and dunk the basket complete with beads in it, loads of steam but they are cold with in a couple of minutes, job done!
just lift the basket out with the handle in place in water (in a bucket) loads of stinky steam comes from it but does the job, plus if pieces are big enough you can reuse them
