Hi everyone, ok we just wanted to give update on where we're upto now as we've had a couple of enquiries for availability.
We hav now setup in our manufacturing premises and startd production this week looking for stock to be available mid next week. We would like to thank everybody who has shown interest in this new product and will be emailing full details to everyone on our mailing list this Friday.
As we have now started production of the canopys, we have sent emails to everyone on our mailing list. As we have sent group email using 'BCC' (bulk email) method, it is possible that the email may have gone into your spam folder and you have not seen it, therefore please check if not done so already.
The introductory price for the canopy is £34.99 + £8.95 postage and packaging (UK mainland).

Card payments can now be taken, email name, address, preferred trim colour and we will email an invoice and paylink for card payment giving you all the security of your card provider.
I have been trying to purchase one of these since Thursday last week. First the payment page on the website was not working. I have tried to phone them but the phone goes straight to answerphone.
I e mailed tham asking if someone could ring me so that I could pay over the phone, but they sent me a link to a sepatrate onluine payment system.
This was also not working. I have e emailed them again but have had no response.
It does not inspire confidence. One would think that they did not want my business.

We bought one of these a few weeks ago.
It is brilliant, it has kept all the rain and snow out of the caravan and we can put in the shower to dry while travelling.
It is a great product.
------------- We camped for years. In 2019 we bought an Elddis Avante 454. We like it as it is short (6.9m) and fits in our driveway and has a fixed bed.
We had 127 nights away in the caravan in 2023.

As an update, I can confirm that Firwood did eventually contct me. From there on the payment process was simple, they were very polite, dispatch was swift and delivery was on the day promised.
The product appears to be good quality and is made on fully waterproof material, so would not need to be dried out after use. Tried it on the van, it's a bit tight against the house wall and not secured or tensioned, but looks quite good.
The only problem I have with it is its size. This is the box it comes delivered in. On the plus side, it does not require any assembly, but the negative of this is that it does not fold any smaller. This is a bulky (if lightweight) package to carry around with you.
I think potential customers should be informed that the item does not pack down smaller. If it works, I can see me making up my own frame for it out of 20mm electrical conduit and jointed pieces so that the item can be packed up smaller for storage.

We find that it fits easily in the shower for transport with the added advantage that any water can easily drain away if it is in the shower.
