We've just got the Lidl groundsheet for our porch awning, it looks and feels like softex.

I know that these groundsheets let the damp through, I was just wondering if all the modern style groundheets/carpets do the same?

well if they're breathable it's to stop it from killing the grass when used in a caravan awning rather than to make it waterproof, no?

I got the Lidl one too and will be putting it on over our groundsheet as an extra layer to make things nice underfoot ( and hopefully stop the picnic rugs I've got as carpets from moving around)
