I've just ordered one of these for my 2nd camping trip with the kids.

On reading posts here and reviews of the stove. I understand i will need to also by a regulator and gas/butane?

Is it best to get the Calor or Campinggaz's own products? Where should I buy these products? Calor appears to be cheaper so I was going to go with that. Will it work OK with a Campingaz stove?

I will onlly be using it in the UK.

Apologies for all the questions, but i don't really know what I'm doing! But for £8.50 it seemed too good to turn down.

Calor is the cheapest and easiest to find. Your stove will work with any regulator. I use Calor on mine and have never had any problems

Go outdoors seems to be a couple of £s cheaper than calor's RRP if you have a card for there. Most petrol stations sell Calor as well.

Regulators are specific to the bottle not the stove also calor and campingaz regulators are not interchangeable. Calor is the cheapest option with a 4.5kg bottle. Campingaz is more expensive but is available in smaller bottles. You ay be able to pick up a bottle at your local recyling centre

If you look on Calor website you will find size & weight of bottles & likewise on Campingaz website. The cost of the bottles from suppliers is about £30+cost of gas which can vary. A cheaper way is to buy an old bottle of correct make, ie Calor from bootsale for a few quid & if empty, exchange this for a full one at supplier for just cost of contents.
