When MK electronics used to do exhibitions as one of their manufacturer they do ask us to attend the show to assist them with staff and also technical support that is why you may have spoke with someone from Falcon tech team but ultimately the contract of sale was with the re seller and not ourselves. I have looked into this particular issue and the finance team have confirmed that no monies were received by Falcon for this particular purchase, but the confusion came to play when the re seller put our contact details on your cc slip so that you have them for warranty issues.
I am sorry you had this upset and as stated before we are working hard to keep all of our customers satisfied and will take on board all the issues that have been raised for the future.

After reading this I would guess best place to buy a satnav is your local Halfords. Then if it goes wrong you can take it back.

Yes buy local so you have contact in the event of a problem as trying to contact Companies who totally ignore phone calls emails and letters can get very frustrating which was our experience when we purchased our Falcon Sat Nav We also own a Tom Tom which we bought in 2000 that never lets us down but is a basic model and cannot be set for a caravan ,so we will now purchase a later model with caravan in mind.

Why do you need a specific caravan satnav? You read plenty of complaints on here about satnavs 'telling' users to take unsuitable roads & so on but a satnav has to be used in conjunction with a map & also the driver's own eyes. For example campsites are often signposted locally but if your satnav 'tells' you to go a different way then that way might be shorter but it will be unsuitable as well.

Most complaints do seem to be about more expensive satnavs that are supposed to be specific for certain vehicles so just a cheap basic satnav & the application of common sense will be equally good.

If you get a holder for your phone you can have Google Maps on to oversee the route and you always know exactly where you are. I find it a good combination.
