Need help please

Bought a Fapa roofbox on gumtree for what we thought was a great price as key was missing and should get a key replacement easily as we had barrel code .

Nope need to send away to belgium to get one and will take 3 weeks !!!! contacted a local locksmith but needs to see what a key looks like as he may be able to cut one if he knows what it looks like

If anyone has a fapa key could they send a pic to ianmcclair at btinternet.com

remove the lock if its open and take it to a locksmith, they should be able to sell you a replacement lock with keys for about £8.00 to £10. dont loose the bracket on the back of the lock.
done it several times myself, changed a bonnet lock on an old car with one from a filing cabinet and fitted a replacement lock on a toyota spare wheel cover for £6.oo from local locksmith shop.
most of these locks are the same with different locking levers held on with a c clip or screw.
