Will not light up on trying to use gas to heat water. The gas connection is ok.

Any ideas please?

If the green light is not coming on it may be fuse needs checking.This is located under the cover where the electric cable enters the heater.

The most usual problem is nor removing the cover from the outside vent. It will not allow the gas to be lit if not removed.
