I've just e-mailed Cadac about a problem with my safari chef, last week while camping I turned the stove on to boil the kettle, within a minute I notice the flame had migrated to near where you turn the gas on, I managed to blow it out and switch off the regulator, but I'm not not allowed to use this anymore, I guess it has really put us at risk - we were in the tent at the time and I had just replaced the gas with a new full bottle, so if it had gone it doesn't bare thinking about!
It's not been used much since I brought it, maybe like 15 times so I've not really got value for money, and I'm now not sure whether to replace like for like or get a camping gaz 3 in 1 R.
If I hear back from Cadac and they offer to replace this due to the danger it posed then that would be great, but it's a fair few years old (4 maybe) now. I'll let you know what happens, but glad I've found this thread so I know it's not just me experiencing problems.
