with a good many businesses going in to administration these days a lot of people are being left high and dry....Good call.
No punn intended?
If you really do run out of avenues (streessing over it), then set about repairing it yourself and using it for another season, get some use out of it, then sell it on, put it down to experience.
Either purchase your next Outwell from an estabilished dealer, and test pitch it ASAP,
or
Go with another brand out of principle, I did, I still like the look of the Outwells, but just dont want the hassle all over again, so one less customer.
Well, after a second post on the Outwell FB page I had a response of sorts, promising to send the relevant instructions. So, my motto is, if at first you don't get a reply, try, try, try again. Shout a bit louder.
As SS mentioned, this is a big forum with lots of listeners. Ditto Twitter...
After a while, you go beyond wanting to resolve your issue and just want someone to listen and repond personally with thought and consideration. Not much to ask really and good customer service/experience maketh money.
Keep us posted with your progress.

Why did the OP buy the tent from ebay and did they not look into who they were purchasing it from, ie get a phone number, addresses etc etc in case something did go wrong, this is a lot of money, the contract is only with the retailer, not Outwell. Outwell have not sold anything here, Outwell have not made any money from the OP, Outwell have no business/contract with the OP. Outwell only sell to real camping retailers, some do sell on ebay yes but they will have a shop as well, check were your money went, find the retailer.
The only thing I would say to poeple is do not give your money to a website with no telephone number or contact details, no doubt the OP will of thought they had got a deal or wanted to pay with credit on their paypal account, I dont know but surley service counts for something and using a retailer with a shop and a good reputation maybe a better way to go...
As for the title of this post, it should read "Outwell retailer, shocking customer service"

I agree that people should chose well who they buy from. Unless there is a truly massive difference in price, i'd rather pay a little over the lowest price to get the good service offered by many of the independents out there..
