We have just bought some thermarest XL dreamtime mats which are self inflating mats with memory foam and a plush cover. Was alarmed at the cost (£130 each online) but read reviews which were very good and decided to buy. OH tested indoors over 2 nights last weekend and said they were more comfortable than our proper bed. Will use as spare beds at home or when visiting friends as well as camping.
I just changed from a fold up camp bed to a simple cheap Self Inflating Mattress and Fleece Sleeping bag liner from Tesco and a Roll Mat from Clas Ohlson. All of this cost me £24 (bought seperatly when on offer). I put the Roll mat and SIM inside the Fleece liner and sleep like a baby. Recently I purchased a memory foam pillow from Primark for £8.
The whole set up is so comfortable that the Wife has now swapped over from her camp bed.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
