Hi,
need to buy an new lantern for our camping trip, are the fluorescent strip lights any good for camping I ve seen on in go outdoors no reviews, which is better a rechargeable lantern or the fluorescent stip light?

I have a wide variety of lights and find the battery UFO lights are very good.
For EHU I like to use my Outwell Tauri light.

I also use Campingaz Lumogaz lanterns, oil filled hurricane lamps, wind up lanterns, recharagable LED strip light and solar lights.

Don't get anything too 'white' if you can help it. There's nothing worse for us than the 'office loo'k in a tent to ruin the mood.

If you use ehu, rope lights are great, give off good light but not glaring

We've just bought two small table lamps from Argos, £2.99 each, plastic and very light so ideal for camping, plus they're blue and match the set up so good for 'glamping' too

Available in red and purple too!
